Can the labels be disposed of as organic waste?

The new frontier of label fabrics are ecological materials that do not harm the environment and can even be disposed of as organic waste.

Our Research & Development department consistently monitors market demands and has managed to produce the LABìO HANGreen and LABìO ECO-SOFT brand fabrics for the production of eco-sustainable labels and tags.

Below are the main specifications for these two innovative materials:

1. Respect of the environment during manufacturing

The manufacturing of LABìO ECO-SOFT and LABìO HANGreen brand fabrics is based on the reuse of raw materials and a 15-fold reduction of water consumptions foreseen by the production process of other label fabrics, a plus for the environment from the very first stages of processing.

2. They are compostable

The LABìO HANGreen and LABìO ECO-SOFT brand fabrics use a biodegradable and compostable yarn and are then resin-coated with different resins.

3. Certification

The LABìO HANGreen brand fabrics, designed for the manufacturing of tags, and hence a sturdier material have compostable resin coatings, while the resins used for the LABìO ECO-SOFT line are GOTS certified.

4. The resins are also eco-friendly

The yarns used for the manufacturing of the LABìO HANGreen line are all TUV AUSTRIA certified while the resins used for the LABìO ECO-SOFT line are GOTS certified.

5. They withstand 10 washes

The LABìO ECO-SOFT line fabrics withstand 10 domestic washings at 30°C without damage.

La nuova frontiera dei tessuti per etichette sono i materiali ecologici che non impattano sull’ambiente e che possono addirittura essere smaltite con i prodotti organici.

Il nostro reparto di Ricerca & Sviluppo, da sempre attento alle necessità del mercato, è riuscito a realizzare i tessuti a marchio LABìO HANGreen e LABìO ECO-SOFT per la produzione di cartellini ed etichette ecosostenibili.

Ecco le principali caratteristiche di questi due materiali innovativi:

1. Rispettano l’ambiente durante la produzione

La produzione dei tessuti a marchio LABìO ECO-SOFT e LABìO HANGreen si basa sul riutilizzo delle materie prime e riduce di 15 volte il consumo di acqua previsto dall’iter di produzione di altri tessuti per etichette, facendo bene all’ambiente fin dalle prime fasi di lavorazione.

2. Sono compostabili

I tessuti a marchio LABìO HANGreen e LABìO ECO-SOFT utilizzano un filato biodegradabile e compostabile e vengono poi resinati con resine differenti.

3. Sono certificati

I tessuti a marchio LABìO HANGreen, studiati per la realizzazione di cartellini e per questo più sostenuti, sono rifiniti con resine compostabili, mentre le resine usate per la linea LABìO ECO-SOFT sono certificate GOTS.

4. Anche le resine sono Eco

I filati usati per la produzione della linea LABìO HANGreen sono stati certificati TUV Austria, mentre le resine usate per la linea LABìO ECO-SOFT sono certificate GOTS.

5. Resistono a 10 lavaggi

I tessuti della linea LABìO ECO-SOFT resistono a 10 lavaggi domestici a 30° senza rovinarsi.
